This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was built the 7th of April at the Dearborn, Michigan plant. Notably, this car was ordered with the Ram Air option for the 351-4V M Code engine. It was also ordered with a 4 speed manual transmission, SelectAire Air Conditioning, power front disc brakes, power steering, Mach 1 Sport Interior, Instrumentation Group, Convenience Group, sport deck (folding) rear seat, AM/FM radio, tinted glass, and body side tape stripes. This Mustang is a 1 of 1 car as optioned. It was sold new at Pat Milliken Ford in Detroit. This Mustang has been the recipient of an older restoration performed in 2003, which shows very well today. Restoration photos and some invoices are included. The car also comes with original manufacturer manuals and plaques from car show wins.
It is presented now with 29,350 miles on the odometer. The car starts, runs and drives very well. The transmission shifts smoothly and with power steering and disc brakes, this car is an excellent cruiser! The factory color Dark Green Metallic paint shows very well with only minor flaws. The gaps are excellent and the body is straight!
The Ginger interior is also in very good shape. The AM/FM radio is functional. The gauges are all clear and function as they should. The carpet and headliner are in excellent condition and the interior lights have been converted to LED. This Mustang rides on 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial tires.
This is an excellent opportunity to own a well documented, high optioned 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
